Summit Farm is a small family-owned and operated farm dedicated to providing the community of Belchertown and beyond with the highest quality vegetables and fruits. Each year Walter “Sonny” Lakota plants, maintains, loves, and harvests the hundreds of plants grown on the farm. Sonny continues a long tradition of farming that has been part of the Lakota Heritage for long-over 100 years.

Sonny’s wife Linda manages the farm stand each year, and also brings produce to the farmers’ markets with the help of granddaughter Lily. Together, Sonny and Linda are able to provide you with delicious produce during the growing season.

Marlene, Alicia, and Aaron help with the daily activities of the farm such as planting, maintenance, and harvesting.

Eric Lakota helps to maintain the equipment needed to farm.

The dogs; Mitsy, Emmy, Tiny, Olive, and Jovie do what they can to offer comic relief
